Description
The mixture of the oat milk and sugar neutralises the acidity of the coffee and adds a bit of sweetness. This drink is designed for those who are getting into coffee and do not want to feel the full taste of coffee but still want to taste the beans. The blend is not so sweet that it tastes like sugar but not so raw that it tastes like a espresso. It is just right.
As always in searching for the beans we sought out the most ethical and sustainable arabica coffee bean farmers in Ethiopia. We compensated them fairly. We do this as a coffee house because we want to ensure a sustainable supply for you our customers.
For those that do not know or are new to coffee. A Cappucino is an espresso based drink that originated in Austria (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cappuccino). It is essentially an espresso with steam milk and milk foam, see this page for an infographic.
Due to everything being bigger in Africa, especially when it comes to food. At our restaurant the sizes are larger than most. We serve are small-around 150ml, medium size is 200ml and a large of 250ml. An extra large is 300ml. The calories for this product are 110kj. The coffee to beverage ratio is around 25%. We keep it this way in order to not dilute the beverage so much that it loses its original taste.
